With increased media exposure and lawsuits, we've been hearing that mold -- especially black mold -- might create health problems.  While there is no conclusive scientific evidence that mold does create serious health problems, it is apparent that mold can create allergic reactions, asthmatic reactions, skin rashes and other symptoms.

Generally, you can detect mold in your workspace or home by smelling it or seeing it.  There are some mold tests available in the marketplace that can help you find mold, especially if it is coming from the airducts or vents in your home.  If you are renting property, you might want to have your landlord or rental agency remeidiate any mold problems, particularly if you suspect that you have health issues.
