Testing for Mold
A pastor in Kansas has refused to let a woman and her daughter out of a lease despite serious mold problems.
Mold can be created from leaky pipes. The best way to test for mold is to get a kit. After using the kit, you send the samples to a lab. If you are having serious trouble with a landlord because of mold issues, have your doctor write a note, based on the lab results, about the health risk you are dealing with.
